Waterfalls Magazine – “The last quarter of 2023 celebration has commenced and the best way to climax this year is with great power.”
These were the words of Guyana’s veteran fashion designer, Sonia Noel, when she recently sat down with this publication at the Tower Hotel Suites.
She explained that the Sonia Noel Inc. in collaboration with Tower Suites, and overseas based model trainer, Richard Young, will be hosting a number of events to provide businesses and individuals with the tools to assist in elevating their profiles and readying them to seize requisite, realistic and relevant opportunities in the upcoming year.
Yesterday, her “Power of Mindset” campaign, kicked-off with an enthusiastic and pulsating virtual event that has set a fine start to the upcoming activities. This Noel said, will be executed through the method embracing optimism, believing in our abilities, and having faith in the outcome.
The second upcoming event according to Noel, is dubbed ‘The other side of Fear – Conversations on Living Intentionally’, and will be hosted at Tower Hotel on Main Street on October 17, 2023, and registration is free.
Noel noted that, “When people live in constant fear, whether from physical dangers in their environment or from threats they perceive, they can experience negative impacts in all areas of their lives and even become incapacitated. Navigating through fear to live an intentional and authentic life is important to everyone.”
This event is at Tower Suites and registration is free. This will be followed by Noel’s, ‘Profit Profile’ which showcases branding, competitiveness, innovation, service and excellence is carded for Tower Suites on the October 19.
In explaining this event, Noel noted, “This programme heightens your sensibilities and engage your senses to create brand identity, fostering occupational pride, instilling added-value work ethics, and ensuring high-calibre service deliverables”.
The event will feature a morning session from 9:00hrs to midday and in the evening from 17:00hrs to 21:00hrs.
There will also be a ‘Model Image’ workshop which Noel said will be, “Fashioning the future you, staging dynamics, camera awareness, runway prowess, and is designed to prepare aspiring models to exemplify best-practice modeling techniques.”
According to Noel, this event will also enrich the look and style of those who don’t necessarily want to model, but want to exude the confidence of the trailblazers of style. This workshop is scheduled for the October 21 from 10:00hrs and is designed for persons from age seven. There will be another session for adults, and this starts from 15:00hrs and concludes at 19:00hrs.
Registration fee for any of the events has been set at $7000.
