WDCA/Guyana Breweries Inc T20 Tourney…

Kaieteur Sports – Kemol Savory and Quazim Yusuf were outstanding with the bat while Hemendra Kowlessar grabbed seven wickets to highlight the lastest round of matches in the West Demerara Cricket Association Guyana Breweries Inc T20 round robin competition.

At Canal Sports Club Ground, La Grange All Star defeated Independence B by seven wickets.  Independence B made 125 all out in 10 overs.  Extras contributed 49.

Lagrange All Star scored 126 for 3 in nine overs in reply.

At West Meten Meer Zorg Community Center Ground, Leonora Cricket Club got the better of Rising Star.  Leonora made 135 all out with Marlon Basdeo scoring 30, Navram Ganeshram 33 and Jetendra Kishore 19. Rising Star were all out for 122 in reply.

At Canal Number Two Ground, Mc Gill beat host Canal Number Two Sports Club by eight wickets.  Canal SC made 116 for 9 in 20 overs.  Navindra Persaud  scored  71 as Adbul  Razack claimed 4 for 15,  Sudesh Persaud  2 for 21  and Navindra  Persaud  2 For 28.

At West Meten Meer Zorg, Cold Fusion beat Meten Meer Zorg Sports club by seven runs. Cold Fusion took first strike and managed 154 all out in 19.2 overs.    Ganesh  Narine made24,  Keyon  Alexender  23,  Cheteam  Persaud  19 and Akeem  Redmon  19. Bowling  For  Meten Meer zorg  Sports club, 16 year-old right arm leg spinner Navindra Sankar  snared 3 For 15, Levroy Miggins 2 For 24 and Mahendra  Nankishore 2 For 29. Meten Meer Zorg SC made 147 in reply.  Jermaine Maxwell scored 30 and Pameshwar Ram 27.  Bowling for Cold Fusion Ganesh Narine claimed 3 for 26 and Keon Foster 2 for 21.

At Canal, Mc Gill beat Meten Meer Zorg Warriors by eight wickets. Meten Meer Zorg Warriors scored 79 all out in 19.2 overs.  Jeremiah Scott and Vinod Rajkumar made 19 each. Bowling for Mc Gill, Derquin Murray snared 3 for 16. Mc Gill responded with 80 for one in 14.2 overs. Judel McAllister and Travis Persaud made 34 and 31 not out respectively.

At West Meten Meer Zorg, Cornelia Ida (CI) won by 77 runs.  CI posted 222 for 4 in 20 overs.  Akshay Persaud slammed 78, Richie Looknauth 65 and Anthony Adams 38.

Meten Meer Zorg Sports Club scored 145 for 8 in 20 overs.   Dinesh George got 35, Akash Motie 28, Adrian Johnson 22 and Pameshwar Ram 20.  Richie Looknauth picked up 3 for 29 and Akshay Persaud 2 for 24.

At Bellevue Ground, host Bellevue won by five runs. Bellevue managed 147 For 9 with Jewan Hamid scoring 48, Satnarine Joda 35 and Kurt Kipp 36.

Bowling for Windsor Forest B, Derwin La Rose captured 4 for 19 and Rajiv Kadanauth 3 for 25. Windsor Forest B responded with 142 for 5 in 20 overs. Kadanauth scored 46 and La Rose 36. Bowling for Bellevue Imran Khan took 3 for 18.

At Canal, Windsor Forest A Beat Royal Strikers by 49 runs.  Windsor Forest A posted 159 with Sachin Balgobin scoring, 47 Avinash Ganesh 31, Lalta Suknanan 27 and Cheteam Nauth 24.

Royal Strikers were bowled out for 110 in 18.5 overs. Timothy Narine scored 32 and Navindra Dairam 18. Bowling for Windsor Forest a Lalta Suknanan claimed 3-10, Kisaun Tracy claimed 3 For 33 and Sachin Balgobin 2 For 10.

At Zeeburg Ground, All Youths beat Leonora Cricket Club by five wickets. Leonora made 189 for 4. Chris Mangal scored 64 and Jetendra Kishore 37.   Bowling for All Youths Budhan Baksh took 2 for 22.  All Youths responded with 191 for 5.  Budhan Baksh made 47, Sanjay Persaud 42, Krishna Rangewan 29 and Deoram Persaud 18.

At Meten Meter Zorg West, Cold Fusion trashed Independence B by eight wickets. Independence B made 62 all out.  Parnell London claimed 3 for 19 and Ganesh Narine 2 for 7.   Cold Fusion replied with 64 -2 in seven overs. London made 32 not out and Ganesh Narine 15.

At Bellevue, Independence A beat Bellevue by 75 runs. Independence A posted 217.  Quazim Yusuf slammed 101 not out, Anand Bharrat 55 and Ricky Sargent 28.  Bowling for Bellevue Krishna Singh claimed 3 For 18. Bellevue made 142 all out with Kerwin Bennett scored 50 as   Sagar Hetenarine took 2-9, Reaz Esau 2-8 and Bharrat 2 for 19.

At Bellevue, the home team beat Zeeburg Warriors. Bellevue scored 136 -6. Dyal  Rajpat made 43, Randy  Ramroop 36 not out and Krishna  Singh 20. Zeeburg Warriors responded with 133- 6.  Gernard Armstrong struck 50 and Micheal Mathura   35. Randy Ramroop took 2 for 19.

At Zeeburg, Leonara   Police overcame Rising Star by 179 runs.  Police scored 218 all out in 18 overs.  Kemol Savory smashed 91, David Heyliger 29 and Booshnarine Lallbachan 20.

Rising Star were bowled out for 40 in response. Delroy Archer, Lallbachan and Vibert Johnson took two wickets each.

At Zeeburg, Good Fourtuin beat Leonora. Good Fourtuin posted 130 all out. Deo Singh got 48 as Hemendra Kowlessar bagged 5 for 12.  Leonora made 87 all out. Aditya Rikhee claimed 4 for 7.

At Bellevue, Independence A defeated Shamrock. Independence A made 179 for 9, while Shamrock were sent packing for 87 in reply.

At Meten Meer Zorg, West Meten Meer Zorg Warriors beat Windsor Forest A.   Windsor Forest A made 141 For 9. Kishan Tracy scored 54.  Bowling for Meten Meer Zorg Warriors Elian Whyte had 3 for 17. Meten Meer Zorg Warriors replied with 147-6.

At Canal Number Two Ground, Canal Sports Club made 115 -8. Taijnauth Jadnauth got 43 as Altaf Khan took 3 for 19.  Royal Strikers in reply made 104-4. Safraz Khan led with 57.

At West Meten Meer Zorg , Cornelia Ida scored  142 For 9.  Shahid Vieira got 33 as John Paton snared 3 for 33.

Independence B made 132 all out in reply. Shafeek Deonarine picked up 4 – 34 while Aryan Persaud, Mahendra Dhanpaul and Mohamed Wazidali had two wickets each.
