Kaieteur Sports – Today, one lucky Caribbean Premier League (CPL) fan will get an opportunity to test his/her cricketing and gaming skills against a guest CPL player and a chance to win a 50-inch television. Courts, a brand of the Unicomer group, as part of its ongoing 30th anniversary celebrations will be holding the TCL-Courts eSports challenge at the mega store on Main Street today, Friday, from 10 hrs.
The call for participants in this challenge has, so far, received more than 250 fans, all vying for the chance to compete against the CPL player. The winner will be randomly selected and announced today. The winner will then play a PS5 cricket game provided by CPL against up and coming Guyanese and West Indian bowler Ashmead Nedd. If the fan beats the professional, they will walk away with the brand-new50 – inch SMART HD television set. Onlookers and customers will also be able to take advantage of a 30% discount on all gaming accessories including controls and gaming headsets, plus get massive discounts on TCL televisions and a free Nintendo Switch with select TV purchases.
On the same day Courts will additionally beholding a series of activities as the 30th anniversary celebrations reaches its peak. In store customers will have the chance to win prizes via a “spin the wheel” promo and will also have an opportunity to meet some of the CPL players.
