CWIMA expresses sincere thanks to Minister Ramson
Kaieteur Sports – Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) wishes to express its sincere thanks to the Honorable Minister of Culture, Youth & Sport, Hon. Charles Ramson, who has willingly come on board to assist three of the five Guyanese cricketers selected to represent West Indies at the O4os Cricket Global Cup being held in Karachi Pakistan from September 18th 2023 to October 2nd 2023.

The 5 Guyanese players who have been selected for the Windies O40s squad are; Bhesham Seepersaud, Hemraj Garbarran, Randy Lindore, Lookeshwar Mahabeer and Devon Clements. All of these players have been taking part in the BIG MAN CRICKET-2 being presently played in Guyana. Garbarran and Clements have both registered centuries in the BMC. Three of those selectees – Garbarran, Lindore and Clements had reached out to the Minister since these tournaments are all self-funded.
The Minister was immediately responsive in granting all 3 cricketers with a significant portion of their expenses accounted for and also proceeded to extend best wishes to them all on their journey and for a highly successful tournament in Pakistan.
