Pegasus Hotel & Suites Partners with Guyana Golf Association/Nexgen Golf Academy
Kaieteur Sports – Pegasus Hotels & Suites, the top-ranking hotel in the country will become the official hotel for the Guyana Golf Association, Westside Golf Course and the Nexgen Golf Academy.

To celebrate the partnership, the lobby of the hotel has been transformed to feature a putting green during the busy Cricket Carnival period to allow guests and visitors the opportunity to try their hand at the game.
Robert Badal, a visionary hotelier said “The Pegasus Hotel & Suites has always been known for pushing the boundaries and delivering excellent service and amenities to our guests and visitors. This is simply another step in that direction, adding to our restaurants, clubs, and bars that makes us the best option for visitors to Guyana.”

Golf has grown tremendously in the past two years mainly through the efforts of the GGA in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Guyana Tourism Authority with thousands of new players being given their first opportunity to participate in the sport.
President of the GGA Aleem Hussain expressed his gratitude to the Pegasus Hotel & Suites, “This is the culmination of several years of joint efforts and we wish to thank Mr. Badal, General Manager Carlos Montenegro and the entire team who have made this possible for more persons to be aware and participate in golf activities. The rapid growth of the sport demonstrates our ability to develop key and strategic partnerships that can impact the development of Golf in Guyana.”
As a part of the golf activities at the Pegasus Hotel & Suites, persons can participate in putting contests for prizes and register for the National Long Drive for Charity Golf Championship to try and become the first title holder on Guyana’s history!
The tournament allows cricketers and other athletes from various sporting disciplines to challenge golfers to see if they can use their skills to beat golfers at their own game! Everyone is welcome to try with all balls and equipment provided by Nexgen Golf Academy.
