Waterfalls Magazine – Being an author can be an exciting task on one hand and daunting on the other. Oftentimes, people have great ideas, but they are unable to express their thoughts logically and coherently when writing. However, Guyanese author Geary Reid has proven to be very different and has defied these odds. He is now the author of 104 self-published books.
His consistent writing and frequent publication of his collection of books in diverse subject areas speak to his passion, commitment, and dedication to writing. All of his work is reviewed by experienced professionals, as well as, edited by international proofreaders and editing companies.
Reid is a non-fiction author who took the liberty to write a wide range of genres. His 104 non-fictions books are categorized into these four major genres: Academic/Professional/Business with 36 books; Christian/Religious with 35 books; Family life with 21 books; and General Knowledge/Motivational with 12 books.
He said that all the major categories of the books can be subdivided into other related categories.
Reid explained that his books can be used by individuals who are interested in starting their own businesses, as well as, students and lecturers pursuing further academic qualifications.
“Moreover, there are books for children, adults, single and married people, husbands and wives, etc. More importantly, Christians and other religious-minded readers can benefit immensely from the collection of books for personal devotions, bible studies, and bible schools,” he said.
Reid’s passion and love for writing are evident in his ability to churn out new material. His last 100 books were published within 62 months all while he provided service to his employer, participating in his weekly Christian duties, and playing his role as a devoted husband and father. He is a self-published and the sole author of all of his books.
