Head of the organising team, Nasrudeen Mohamed Jnr, has been hard at work for the big event and had earlier informed that the Jumbo Jet Thoroughbred Racing Committee met with Senior Police Officers of the Region 5 District to mitigate the incessant traffic emanating from the annual Guyana Cup Horse Racing event.
Due to the massive attendance in 2022 their where thousands of patrons and commuters who were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for hours while trying to reach the venue or simply pass the festivities. After careful examination of the shortcomings for 2022 the JJTRC has collaborated with the Guyana Police Force to initiate a five-step plan to eliminate the traffic problem in the best possible way.
Those arrangements will be in place and will again be highlighted so fans heading to the venue will be aware and have a much easier time getting in to see the racing.
The after concert sponsored by Banks DIH is set to commence at 6:00pm and Teejay is set to be one of the featured artiste on show for the fans enjoyment.
