The BHS basketball team arrives in the USA for training programme
Kaieteur Sports – The Bishop’s High School (BHS) Basketball Team arrived in the USA yesterday ahead of their stint at the prestigious DT Elite Basketball Training and Cultural Exposure Camp in Washington DC.
The team is being accompanied by Coach Deborah Solomon at the camp which is scheduled to run from July 27 – August 6.
While in the USA, the BHS players will be immersed in daily training sessions from 9:00 am to 12 noon.
According to information reaching Kaieteur News, the opportunity promises not only to elevate the students’ basketball skills but also to foster their social growth and raise awareness of their full potential, both on the court and in their academic pursuits.

It is stated, that the sessions will be meticulously tailored and designed with the sole purpose of honing their basketball prowess to new heights.
The students’ trip was made possible by their parents, and the school through various fundraising initiatives.
