Dear Editor,
In New Zealand a minister has quit the government over a drink driving crash (BBC).
Here, a video circulating on an online news site (GDN) of a perceived highly inebriated public figure unrinating in front of a private property not once but twice and allegedly engaing in indecent acts when upbraided. This is outrageous and smacks of disrespect for the residents and their property and constitutes an assault with sexual overtures.
Of course it does not carry the same public space as that other alleged, sexual assault matter and the critics of that matter are resoundingly quiet on this one.
Regards,
Shamshun Mohamed
