Kaieteur News – During the recent opening of bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) office, the Ministry of Health received eight proposals from firms interested in providing engineering services for the construction of the New Amsterdam Health Science Institute and School of Nursing.
It was revealed that the engineering consultancy firm would have to provide master planning, design and construction supervision services for the project. The firms that submitted bids are: Kalitech Inc., Meridian Designs and Services Inc., Vikab Guyana LIMITED, Innovative Engineering Consultancy Services, Skylines Architectural Inc., GR Engineering Company, Engineering and Agricultural Consultants Inc., and Alvair Guyana Inc.

Professional Engineering Consultancy Services for the Master Planning, Design and Construction
Supervision of the Construction of the New Amsterdam Health Science Institute and School of Nursing.
National Parks Commission
Supply and Installation of IPTV CCTV Networks at the National Park.
Office of the Prime Minister
Procurement of Cooling Solution for the NDMA.
Construction of Central Stores Hinterland Scholarship Dormitory Lilliendaal.
Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport
Covering of Concrete Pitches- Guyana National Stadium.
Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA)
Supply and delivery of Microsoft – Dynamics 365 software, Guyana Revenue Authority Headquarters.
Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce
The strengthening of the institutional framework the partnering government agencies
and developing a communication Change Management Strategy for ESW stakeholders.
Guyana National Bureau of Standards
Procurement of metrology equipment for Lots 1 to 4.
Ministry of Home Affairs
Procurement of fire fighting kits.
Ministry of Agriculture
Procurement of two outboard engines.
