Kaieteur News – The 45th Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) opened on Monday at the Hyatt Regency in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. This year, CARICOM is celebrating 50 years since the signing of the Treaty of Chaguaramas, by Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago which gave birth to the regional body.
