De ‘Selfie Boss’ is de ultimate symbol of public popularity. A photograph with him is worth more than a US visa.
Never before has de country been so united around any single individual. What Jagan and Burnham could not do, de ‘Selfie Boss’ is achieving. No matter deh colour or creed, everybody wants to be seen with and to touch and, most of all, get a snapshot with de ‘Selfie Boss’.
De man now more popular dan Santa Claus. Who knows if Bradd Pitt or Will Smith or Shahruk Kahn come to Guyana, dem might gat to play second fiddle to de ‘Selfie Boss’.
De line getting longer and longer fuh tek a snapshot with de ‘ Selfie Boss”. But unlike in other lines where people like to cut-in, people are waiting patiently fuh a picture with de ‘Selfie Boss’. Dem so well-behaved. No shoving and pushing. People showing more patience than paper.
But yuh know Guyanese. Deh must gat some person who gan behave out of de way. One man decide he gan ask de ‘ Selfie Boss’ fuh a ‘raise’. He go up to de ‘Selfie Boss’ and seh “ Boss, me nah want picture, me want a little freck.”
Right away de ‘Selfie Boss’ decide is time fuh move. He signal he driver, jump in he fancy car, and roll out de place.
