Kaieteur Sports – Guyana’s women’s 3×3 basketball team will make their debut at the Central American (CAC) Games today when they face off against the Dominican Republic at 3:00 pm.
The team is brimming with excitement as they enter Group C, alongside the Dominican Republic and Centro Caribe Sports, in the highly anticipated 12-team tournament.
Leading the charge for the Guyanese team is Ruth Adams, a seasoned player based in Spain, who brings a wealth of experience and skill to the squad.
Alongside Adams, the team features the talented trio of Shania Sears, Jamaicy Ogle, and Kennesha Leacock.
Following today’s inaugural match, Guyana will continue their journey in the tournament by facing off against Centro Caribe Sports tomorrow at 3:00 pm.
With their sights set on the quarter-finals, the team is determined to showcase their prowess and secure a place among the top teams in Group C.
Although the CAC Games officially commenced on June 23 and will continue until July 8, the highly anticipated 3×3 basketball event is scheduled to take place from June 30 to July 2.
