BCB/RL Construction U15 tournament…
Kaieteur Sports – Edinburgh Warriors Cricket Club Under-15 team reached the quarter-finals of the BCB/RL Construction U15 tournament, following their victory over Tuber Park at the Area ‘H’ Ground recently.
The Warriors will now advance and set their sights on tackling Cotton Tree U15 this coming Saturday in Cotton Tree’s home turf. Edinburgh made 78 all out in 18 overs with Antonio DePaul leading the way with 23 and William Costello the next best scorer with 7.
Bowling for Tucber Park, Gilbert Griffith returned with 4-8 off 4 overs, while Jayden Rohlehm chipped in with 3-20 3 off 4 overs but their team was bowled out for 74 runs in 21.2 overs.
Darren Sinclair (11) and Rohlehm, who had a good outing with the ball returning to score just 9, were the leading scorers. It was clinical bowling from Edinburg to defend their low total as Isaac Charlie bagged 5-15 in 3.4 overs while Antonio DePaul, snatched 3-21 in 7 overs.
