The action-packed evening featured Western Tigers facing off against Den Amstel FC, while Guyana Defence Force (GDF) clashed with Buxton United. Both Western Tigers and GDF blew away their respective opponents, Den Amstel and Buxton United, by identical score-lines.
The first match of the evening between Western Tigers and Den Amstel FC, the eventual victors went ahead in the 44th minute when Malchi Grannum unleashed a magnificent strike, breaking the deadlock and granting his team the advantage just before the first half concluded.
As the second half commenced, Western Tigers returned with determination and swiftly extended their lead in the 58th minute with a goal from Randolph Wagner.
