Dear Editor,
Through the columns of your recognised newspaper, I would like to draw your attention to the lack of consciousness in the people regarding the inappropriate content displayed by the company, ‘Rude Boy’, to the public. The intent of this letter is to portray a clear picture of the issue so that the people become aware of such indecent advertisements.
Banners and posters of atrocious and foul images are publicised throughout our communities which commit a breach in the law titled: Indecent Advertisement, Chapter 805, subsection 159-160. This company, Rude Boy, driven by profiteering, shows manipulative and disgraceful displays to push their products. These sexually imprinted advertisements are not appropriate in terms of quality as it is a slow poison to the minds of the people but most importantly, the children who are exposed to these images.
The problem is indeed grave, so to find a solution is a crying need. Therefore, we charge the concerned authorities, government, religious leader and the public to report these vulgar publications and for the police department to uplift the law and take effectively restrictive measures to the stop the poison before it pervades further.
Yours Cordially,
Anonymous
