Dem Boys Seh…
Kaieteur News – Is wah wrong with Glenn Lall? He nah know that dem oil companies are ah we friends. Dem nice, prapa nice to Guyana!
Nah bother with dem wah saying that dem oil companies are thirsty fuh we oil. De ones we gat in Guyana are knights in shining armour. Dem come hay fuh help we and not to help themselves. Dem is we trusted friends. We nah gat to check no bills. Dem nah gan juk out we eye. Dem honest and trustworthy.
De agreement dem sign with Guyana is a good deal. Dem was very generous to hand we dat 2% royalty and if dem claim it back pon taxes, it nah matter to we because we nah collect any taxes in any case. So why are we worried?
Is good that dem shortchanging we. After all is not a good thing to get rich too fast. Yuh does run into all kinds of problems like dem people wah win lottery and nah know how fuh invest de money.
Yuh nah see how much jobs creating in de country. We gat so much jobs that people advertising fuh workers because dem nah getting people fuh wuk. And dem wah getting wuk learning fuh wuk hard.
And let’s not fuhget about safety. The notion of oil spills or environmental catastrophes is simply absurd. Why bother with costly oil spill protection measures when dem oil companies are experts in preventing disasters? Dem discover foolproof ways to defy the laws of nature, ensuring that no oil spill will ever harm Guyana.
And why we gat to burden dem with trivial matters like taxes or ring-fencing? Let’s face it, they are creating jobs, boosting the economy, and bringing prosperity to the masses. Surely, they deserve an exemption from contributing to the welfare of the nation they so selflessly exploit.
Talk half. Leff half.
