Kaieteur News – Worship in Spirit and in Truth Ministries International (WIST) is delighted to host its sixth annual International dance conference, under the theme, “Yarah – To Teach,” from July 20-22, 2023, at the Regency Suites Hotel, on Hadfield Street, Georgetown.
Excitement is in the air as dancers from across the country prepare themselves to attend this highly anticipated conference, which is known to be empowering, informative, uplifting, and impactful. Over the years scores of dancers of various ages who attended these dance conferences testified to the effectiveness of these events which equip dancers here in Guyana to better at their craft.
The sessions are always geared towards the improvement of the skill of dance and the dancer as a person. These dance conferences afford our very own people the opportunity to receive training from international dancers and dance instructors from other parts of the world in various styles of dance.
The ministering team at this year’s conference will be, Arrows International which is an International Christian Dance Company and training school based in Oklahoma, U.S.A., and is directed by its founders Jeff and Natalie Lewis.
As ordained pastors and master choreographers, these two individuals are known worldwide for their professional dance expertise and spiritual foundation. They have taught, choreographed, and ministered throughout the U.S.A., India, and many other different countries.
At this year’s conference, Arrows International will be having workshops in various aspects of dance including various genres such as jazz, contemporary, ballet, and more. Attendees will be trained on how to be passionate about using their gift of dance, engage in intense technique dance classes, and participate in other life-changing activities. The conference caters to dancers three (3) years and older. Early bird registration ends on June 17, 2023.
