Kitt stands strong at AAU NY Met. District Championship
Kaieteur Sports – On Sunday last, young Guyanese-based Track and Field athlete, Sean Kitt, painted another chapter in his 2023 season when he competed at the Amateur Athletics Union (AAU) NY Metropolitan District Championship.
Sean Kitt displays his hardware obtained at the recently held Championship.
Kitt gained podium finishes in the three 9-year old events he competed in as he represented the Dashing Dons and Divas Track Club.
In the Boys 800m, he copped Gold with a time of 2:43.48s to triumph over the only other opponent, Xoan Achigbu, who ended with a time of 3:24.23s
After that, the 1500m race saw Kitt claim silver with a time of 5:40.59s behind Cyrus Boschen, who stopped the clock at 5:19.63s. Additionally, Kitt won another silver when he participated in the Long Jump.
