Kaieteur Sports – The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Guyana Tennis Association (GTA) which took place on Monday at the National Racquett Centre, Woolford Avenue. During the meeting, Christy Campbell, the President of the Association and Vice Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), was re-elected for a second consecutive term as President.
Campbell will lead the Association for the next two years, supported by a capable team of individuals who have contributed to the sport in various roles over the years. The executive members include Nigel Niles as the First Vice President, Surrendra Khayyam as the Second Vice President, while Ramesh Seebarran serves as the Treasurer, and Amada Jaisingh as the Secretary.
The Committee Members appointed are Harry Panday, Jamal Goodluck, Delon Fraser, and Romela Forde. Additionally, Grace McCalman, the former president, was honored with Life Membership of the GTA.
Furthermore, the newly elected executive members of the GTA are returning officer Sharon Small, as well as Harry Panday, Romela Forde, and Amada Jaisingh.
