Dear Editor,
I view with deep concern the statements attributed to two senior government officials concerning the recent judgement handed down by a High Court judge commanding the EPA to adhere to its own directives. The views publicly attributed to the two persons are offensive in the least and they should be roundly censored for such outbursts.
It seems like these gentlemen believe that the Judiciary is their private preserve and they can say and do as they very well like. This is contemptuous behaviour, and it must be roundly condemned by all right-thinking persons. One branch of government ought not to condemn another branch. This is vulgar behaviour and we the people need to speak out when such occurs.
Regards,
Cyril Walker
