Dear Editor,
It was not until the real owner of the Sheriff Street manhole cover was clarified that the public received positive movement on its replacement, which is expected by April 15.
Why is it always that only when issues are placed in the public domain through the media that required action is forthcoming? This particular issue has been outstanding for a long time, now it can be replaced within a matter of days.
Sincerely yours,
Shamshun Mohamed
