Kaieteur News – Gladewin Henry and Ramesh Ramnarine turned in outstanding performances with the bat to guide Wakenaam Eagles to a 220-run win over Wakenaam Rhinos when the Wakenaam Cricket Committee/New Doctor’s Clinic U19 40-over tournament continued recently.
Wakenaam Eagles posted 266 for 4, batting first at the Wakenaam Community Centre ground in Good Success.
Gladewin Henry jr struck 94, while Ramesh Ramnarine made 77 and Justin Dowlin-39. Tomesh Persaud took two wickets, while Shahid Mohamed had 1 – 36 and Trivel Evans 1 for 40.
Wakenaam Rhinos were bowled out for 46 in 8.2 overs in reply. Tomesh Persaud made 19 as Varendra Pooran claimed 3 for 2 and Henry 2 for 0.
