Kaieteur News – Deh gat some women wah does gat to get new clothes every time dem gat to go out. Duh is one of de reasons why some of dem don’t go to everything dem get invite to. Dem know dat dem does gat some friends wah does be looking fuh see if dem gan wear back de same dress wah dem wear at another event.
And we gat some people who does be going through people Facebook page jus fuh see if dem wearing back clothes wah dem wear before. But men nah gat dat problem. Dem could wear de same pants 1,000 times and nobody nah gan notice. But if dem wear de same shirt to de more dan one event, some people gan talk.
Dat is why some of dem politician does gat to get a fat wardrobe allowance. Dem does gat to wear different clothes. And some of we politicians looking fuh dress up dese days since dem notice de waterfall man have on a different shirt every time he do a Tik Tok.
Dem Tik Tok reaching so many persons dat dem boys frighten fuh ask Uncle Glenn fuh borrow one of he shirts because somebody gan notice and go and spread gossip how dem boys borrow shirt from Uncle Glenn.
But yuh know wah does fret dem boys. Is when dem gat to go to a special function. And dem go and buy de most expensive shirt in town, only to turn up at the event and somebody else gat on de same shirt.
Dem things don’t happen to dem ladies. It does only happen to dem men.
