Kaieteur News – Elections are about democracy. And if yuh nah believe in democracy, you should stay clear of elections.
De last General and Regional Elections reveal a lot about who is democratic, autocratic and authoritarian. And people should stay clear of dem who is not democratic. Dem should treat dem like de plague and keep dem distance.
It mek dem boys remember de days of de Founder Leader. Imagine people turn up at de polling station fuh vote and were told how dem done vote already. Imagine de ballot boxes did gat so much ballots dat it was more dan de number of voters assigned to dat polling station.
It mek dem boys remember de Recount of de last election results. One side was so into protesting dat dem protest a result in which dem get all de votes wah cast at a polling station. It was not such a serious matter, that would ah quality as comic relief.
Dem boys did want post a joke about free and fair elections. But dem nah think de APNU+AFC gan get it.
Before de elections wan man go into de US Embassy, he tell dem dat he want a visa. He tell de consular officer dat is de APNU+AFC win de elections, he leaving de country. He tell dem if de PPPC win de elections he leaving de country. De consular officer was baffled and ask he why. He tell de man how he just want to travel.
Talk half. Leff half!
