Kaieteur News – De banks gat so much rules today that when yuh gone in any one is like walking into a court room. Fuh open an account, yuh does gat to show proof of dis and show proof of dat.
De government decide however dat dem gan mek things simplier fuh de small man. So dem pass some regulation dat if yuh only depositing less than $500,000, yuh nah gat to worry about all dem fancy requirements fuh example de source of de funds.
But dem boys wan ask dem which poor man gat $500,000 in dem bank book. Is best dem did seh if yuh depositing less than a$100,000. But fuh put it at $500,000 means is nah fuh poor people alone.
It remind dem boys of de time a man walk into de bank and go up to de teller. He tells her, “Ok listen to me you fool, call your silly Manager now?”
De teller reacts, “Hey there sir I don’t like the way you…”
He stops her and goes again: “Listen to me you fool, you don’t look at me in the eyes when you talk, and call your silly Manager.”
The teller is so afraid that she called her Manager, “Hello Sir, there is an angry man at the front shouting and calling me a fool. Can you come please?”
The Manager comes to meet the man and says, “Ok, I am the Manager of this bank and…”
The man stops him again: “Listen here you silly man. I just won 5 million dollars in the lottery and I want to put it in this bank.”
The Manager replies, “And this fool of a teller is giving you a rough time? Come with me.”
Talk half. Leff half!
