Dear Editor,
On the heels of the high-level outreach to the region comes the revelation that some post offices are in urgent need of repairs and rehabilitation, amidst the somewhat offhanded promise by the region’s top official to have the concerns be passed on to the relevant agencies (INews February10), even while recognising the dire situation of these buildings. Why did it have to take a public outpouring of a concerned citizen to have this matter highlighted?
