Dear Editor,
At last, after more than a decade, the family of the late Babita Sarjou will finally receive justice, they have yearned for and deserve, in the dastardly killing of their loved one. This crime gripped the nation and the family can take comfort in knowing nothing goes unpaid no matter how long it takes. A collective sense of satisfaction and relief is felt by the headlines: “Estranged husband, other man plead guilty to murdering Babita Sarjou” (SN Jan 17), and “Babita Sarjou murder…Ex-husband admits to paying hit man to kill wife, changes plea” (KN Jan 17).
Maybe now the family, in particular her mother, can find peace. May she continue to rest in eternal peace.
Faithfully yours,
Shamshun Mohamed
