Kaieteur News – Delon King, a 41-year-old Norton Street, Worthmanville, Georgetown man, was on Monday arrested for being in possession of 88.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine, commonly known as crystal meth.
King was intercepted by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) at the Sophia Bus Park, Stabroek Market where ranks were part of an operation.
In a press release, CANU said King was stopped, his bag searched and a quantity of zip-lock bags containing the illegal substance was found.
King was escorted to CANU’s Headquarters on Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown where he remains in police custody.
