The Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) will hold elections for officer bearers this afternoon (Sunday) from 13:00hrs at the Linden Mayor and Town Council chambers.
Jets’ Tishawn Kitt (left) was the MVP in LABA’s recent tournament. He received his trophy from LABA President, Lawrence Simon.
President of the LABA, Lawrence Simon, will chair the proceedings where the four clubs who will be participating are Victory Valley Royals, Amelia’s Ward jets, Retrieve Raiders and Kings.
These squads that contested the most recent LABA competitions are expected to send two representatives for today’s meeting. Other teams which have an interest can also attend to witness the elections.
Only recently the LABA staged two 3×3 Tournaments where teams representing Amelia’s Ward Jets won both tournaments.
