Badri Prasad Memorial T20 resumes today in Wakenaam
The Wakenaam Cricket Committee (WCC) Badri Prasad Memorial T20 competition is set to resume today at the Wakenaam Community Centre Ground in Good Success.
Navishaul Pooran
Sans Souci will face Zeelandia in the opening fixture at 09:30hrs and Zeelandia will play Noitgedacht in the second encounter at 13:00hrs.
Chairman of the Wakenaam Cricket Committee, Khemraj Surujpal, said he is excited to see the return of competitive cricket at the senior level on the island which was suspended due to rain.
He added that the players are eager to get back on the field and the two matches are expected to be keenly contested.
Cleon Venture
Among the players set to turn out for Noitgedacht are Tomesh Persaud, Trivel Evans, Matthew Chung, Jeremiah Melville, Neil Ramalho, Asif Mohamed, Mark Retemiah, Cyanna Retemiah and Mikel Retemiah.
Zeelandia will have Navishaul Pooran, Ricardo Adams, Saga Jadookool, Ryan Atkinson, Varun Pooran and Ronnie Gangaram among others.
Oyono Sampson, Jeggernauth Manbodh, Heera Sukhram, Seon Venture, Cleon Venture, Kamal Khan, Chris Singh, Varounie Sasapaul and Ejaz Mohamed will appear for Sans Souci.
