Kaieteur News – Hundreds of businesses have received a doubling of their internet speeds if they subscribe to conneX, the market leading fibre internet plans that also include voice minutes to call locally and to USA/Canada.
In a press release, GTT said its Business Solutions unit aims with conneX to create a positive climate to support entrepreneurship and the sustainability and growth of the private sector.
The conneX service already provides the best value in the market to small and medium sized businesses. With the enhanced conneX plans, business customers now get between 200 Mbps and 600 Mbps speeds and up to 6000 minutes free including calls to the US and Canada.
COO of Business Solutions, Orson Ferguson, said that many small businesses depend on supply chains based in the US and Canada and as a result, the company has moved to ensure that connectivity between the countries is much easier. He said that GTT has done its homework and is doing its part to support these businesses who are critical engines of economic growth.
“We have done the consultation and research that indicates to us that this is what our customers need to ensure that they grow. More speed, more minutes, less cost and the ability to conduct a simple transaction are among the feedback that we have prioritized and delivered”.
Orson disclosed that within weeks the company will also launch a new set of mobile plans for businesses. These plans will increase value for money for businesses and be the best solution for customers with high demand and a need for constant or continuous communication.
“We have reorganised and are moving in a direction that many have asked for us to go. We will be launching our new bundle of unlimited mobile services for businesses; unlimited data, unlimited minutes, unlimited SMS and free roaming to the US and Canada”.
Business customers will be able to combine the new mobile plans with their conneX plans on one bill to obtain the best prices. Payments can be made through mmg+ to avoid lines and increase the simplicity of the transaction.
