Rosignol United defeats NA United 6-0

First Division league football in Berbice

Football action resumed in Berbice with one game in the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/ Berbice Football Association (BFA) 2022 First Division League.

Results of the game saw Rosignol United defeating New Amsterdam United 6-0 in the fixture which was played at the Paradise Ground, West Coast Berbice.

Five different players had their names on the score sheet while a own goal accounted for the 6th goal. The goal scorers were Neil Linton, Mark Galloway, Lashawn Myles, Isaiah James and Dave Torrington.

The competition is for teams in the Ancient County involving teams from both East and West Berbice.

The other teams in the competition are Paradise Football Club, Corriverton Links FC, Monedderlust Football Club, Cougars FC, Hearts of Oak FC and Hopetown Rangers.

At the end of the competition the top three teams and outstanding individual players will be rewarded with incentives.  (Samuel Whyte)
