Dear Editor,
CRG congratulates the participants in the youth parliament on their maturity and focus. Participants have an opportunity to establish a high level of constructive problem solving and debate that can help reduce the current conflict seen within the National Assembly. It is our hope that as these future leaders develop, the skills they learn during this experience will stay with them when given the opportunity to transition to the National Assembly. The way they interact with each other today should be reflective of the way we as a nation would like to see the business of the nation carried out at the National Assembly. Mutual respect maintained when opposing views are discussed and respect for the rules of Parliament while inside and outside of its four walls. Once again, congratulations on embracing the opportunity given, may you pursue and achieve the level of patriotism that fosters unity within our Nation.
Best regards,
Mr. Jamil Changlee
