This year West Coast, Demerara, West Coast, Berbice, West Bank, East Coast, East Bank, along with Corentyne, and Georgetown were represented on this day of racing. We have also never seen this calibre of horses entered, and such big fields.”
Asked what makes this day so special he realted,” Patrons will be treated to record breaking performance in three of the eight races. In the 1,100-metre Vals Construction sprint, half-brother, Early Bird, and half-sister Lady Bird, who are blessed with tremendous agility will battle for speed supremecy.”

About his new inmates, Alado and Everesting Mohamed declared, “Alado has taken to the surface, and he has the class to give his new owners a lovely introduction to the sport. Everesting is a lightly raced horse, and could surprise. Vera’s Finally do not know how to run bad in the Guyana Cup.”
Regarding the 1,600-metre Associated Construction Services Derby Stakes Mohamed outlined, “There are no standout in the eight-horse Derby. It is an open event. All are newcomers, and most will be making their racing debut. This will bring out the excitement.”
