The company will have a grand presence at Guyana’s history making Housing Expo at the National Stadium (located in the banking section) and will also host a putting competition for first time players, giving away lots of prizes for simply trying the game.
Chairman of the group, Adriann Charles explained “we decided to invest heavily into Guyana based on the plans laid out by President Irfaan Ali and his government around the construction industry, leisure and housing market. As a result, our Aegis Cement division is now in a position to immediately supply thousands of tonnes of the highest quality cement in the world. We at the same time feel that we need to invest in the people of the country and the Guyana Golf Association is a great way to reach out across the country. ”
AEGIS Type IS Cement is also truly GREEN cement as there are no CO2 emissions at the steel plant or at the grinding plant. The company already has several orders in place from major local companies and guarantees prompt shipping at lower than current market prices in an effort to support the booming construction industry in Guyana.

Recently, we reinforced our partnership with the Texas Golf Association whose President Jon Shipley was at the Academy giving lessons to new golfers last week.”
Hussain stated that the cooperation agreements coming out of the recent meetings will see a strong focus on development of Golf facilities ranging from the flagship Maraiko Bay Golf course to the scaled version around the country that will be open to all levels of players.
