USATF National Youth Outdoor Championship…
Kaieteur News – Kunusasha Medas-King had another dominant performance on the track when she recently competed at the United States of America Track & Field (USATF) National Youth Outdoor Championship at the Icahn Stadium in Manhattan, New York.
She finished the event with her gold winning percentage at a 100% after recording wins in the Women’s 9 – 10 years 400m, 800m and 1500m races.
The Midas Touch-athlete clocked a time of 1:04.90s in the shortest distance to finish ahead of Sophia Germain
(1:07.58s) and Shanelle Rivera (1:08:37s), in that order.
In the 800m distance, Medas-King won in a time of 2:33.79s while Zoey Warmsley (2:38.09s) and Lindsey Carney (2:39.00s) crossed the line in second and third, respectively.
The 1500m was won in comfortable fashion like her other two races as Kunusasha ran a victorious time of 5:19.19s to beat Aria Boschen (5:22.37s) into second, while Mariam Wajid was third, when she stopped the clock at 5:26.01s.
