Sports Apparel giant MVP Sports, became the latest sponsor to throw its financial might behind the Mocha Village Cup, donating an undisclosed sum yesterday to the organizing committee Ballers Entertainment during a simple presentation ceremony.

The presentation occurred at the entity’s Giftland Mall location. MVP Sports Store Supervisor Annalisa Banwarie presented the sponsorship to Vice-President of Ballers Entertainment Clayton Reece.
The grand final of the tournament which is in its 4th edition will occur tomorrow at the Basketball Tarmac in Mocha. City will oppose Lack Ah Scene in the championship match following semi-final wins.
City defeated Agricola 3-2, while Lack Ah Scene downed Dell Superbet 3-1 in the semi-final round. The losing semi-finalists will battle in the third-place playoff.
Over $700,000 in cash and prizes will be up for grabs in the competition which is currently in its third iteration. The other sponsors of the event include Guinness Brand, Hungry Helpers, and the Mocha Arcadia NDC.
