Kaieteur News – With three patients still admitted into the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the Ministry of Health on Friday reported that from a total of 651 COVID-19 tests, they have recorded 29 new cases across the country within the last 24hours.
The new infections which now bring the total number of confirmed cases to 64,521 were detected in Region Four which recorded 20 cases, Region Six which recorded four cases, Region Five which recorded one case and Regions Two and Three which recorded two cases each.
Additionally, the Ministry’s latest dashboard shows that 16 persons are in institutional isolation, 603 are in home isolation and one person is quarantined institutionally. To date, a total of 62,667 persons have recovered from the virus.
