Dear Editor,
About a few days ago, I noticed about six persons protesting in front of the Ministry of Housing and Water on Brickdam while on my way to work which is also located on Brickdam. I found it hilarious since the rain was about to burst and well I never noticed a protest in front of this Ministry when the opposition had power. While it is anyone’s right to protest, I feel we must understand if we are going to protest that it’s of a worthy cause. Since the PPP/C has taken office, many persons received their house lots apart from this many new initiatives were developed and are becoming realities before our eyes. There is so much road networking as well as land development and housing opportunities under this Government, one simply cannot help but praise the stewardship of this Ali led administration and more in particular, this Ministry led by a powerful duo – Minister Croal and Rodrigues. These ministers are always engaging the public and are delivering on promises!
Kudos to these ministers and all of their initiatives. I, for one, will continue to embrace and appreciate all that comes from this Ministry, I can definitely see them realising the dreams of many Guyanese by 2025.
Sincerely,
Tanya Mohabir
