Dear Editor,
It is perplexing that a stain on our parliamentary democracy, which occurred by the staging of an opposition-led ‘revolt’ in the hallowed Chamber, is not completed as yet and is now slated for a report June 1. This is plain unacceptable as it allows the perpetrators to continue to sit in parliament, enjoy benefits as parliamentarians and other privileges.
The disruptions and disturbances which took place in full view, similar to the attempted heist on democracy, was no small matter and it was expected that its determination would have been swift and condign.
