WDFA Bounce Back Easter Tourney…
Pouderoyen Football Club (PFC) emerged as the champion of the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Easter Bounce Back Tournament which ended on Easter Sunday night at the Leonora Track and Field Centre Football Ground.

Coming up against the #1 side in the Association, the Pouderoyen lads prevailed 3-2 in an exciting final to lift the Trophy Stall donated winner’s trophy.
There were no cash prizes as the newly elected WDFA Executive led by Trevor Williams and Secretary Adrian Giddings decided to pull off the tournament to give clubs the chance to get back into the competitive mode.
Scoring for Pouderoyen were Dwain St. Kitts in the 10th minute, Chidi Matthews in the 40th minute and Telelen Adolph, one minute later.
Meanwhile, Eagles got their goals from Nashawn Livanin the 20thminute and Daniel Clark in the 60th minute.
The other teams that competed were Uitvlugt Warriors, Bell West, Crane Rovers, and Wales.
