Dear Editor,
Nothing could have made me angrier the day I read the missive about the policewoman and Attorney-at-Law Nirvan Singh who (allegedly) verbally abused and spat on this police officer (KN 3/25/ 2022).
How dare him. Even if there were some provocation on the part of the policewoman that did not give Mr. Nirvan Singh the right to verbally abuse and spit on her or anyone for that matter, especially being an attorney he should know better.
This young man’s behaviour is absolutely abhorrent. He has not only let down his father Carl Singh – former Chancellor of the Judiciary, but has also let down the integrity of his profession. He should be taught a lesson in humility. Monetary compensate his accuser and not be allowed to practice law for the next five years.
I hope the court deals harshly with him.
Sincerely,
Gloria Holder
