Kaieteur News – A Jeweller’s employee on Monday had to dodge a bullet after three gunmen who invaded his boss’ stall which is located at Mon Repos on the East Coast Demerara (ECD).
The employee, according to Police, was alone in the stall when three men attacked around 09:40hrs.
Without warning, they reportedly began breaking the showcase and removing Jewellery.
The employee reportedly tried to raise an alarm that the stall was being robbed but was forced to stop, after one of the men aimed the gun at him and reportedly fired a round.
He later told Police that he had to run for cover and luckily the bullet did not strike him. When he came out of his hiding place the gunmen were gone. Police are on the lookout for the suspects.
