Dear Editor,
I cannot agree more with everything that is written in yesterday’s Editorial (Jan. 15, 2022). Why indeed, the stubbornness of our present government to re-negotiate the oil contract or at least throw the ball in ExxonMobil ‘s court and let ‘them’ be the one to deny Guyana a better oil deal. OR is there something the people should know?
I find it highly unusual for the Hon. Vice President, Mr. Bharrat Jagdeo to back away from what he knows to be the right and proper thing to do as he once said: “America cannot tell me how to run Guyana, they can only advise me”.
Respectfully,
Gloria Holder
