Kaieteur News – A driver employed at the Ministry of Health (MOH), 30-year-old Mark Samuels, who was accused of stealing 66 COVID-19 vaccination cards back in August 2021, was on Monday freed of his charges for want of prosecution.
Samuels of 276 South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus. Kaieteur News reported that Samuels previously denied the charge which alleged that between August 22, 2021 and August 23, 2021, at Brickdam, Georgetown, he broke and entered the vaccination centre of the MOH and stole 66 COVID-19 vaccination cards valued $1,014.
