Dear Editor,
In Wednesday’s Kaieteur News you reported a Story titled ” Suspect in East Bank Berbice shooting/robbery remanded to prison”,
Where one of the victims was shot in the arm during a home invasion and robbery and was hospitalized for his injury.
You also reported that one of the perpetrators was apprehended and charged with two counts of robbery under arms.
After reading what was reported in your story, I wondered why there was not a charge for the bodily harm suffered by the victim as well as illegal possession of a prohibited weapon by the perpetrator?
Sincerely,
Dennis Balgobin
