Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – The gentleman who rescued and rendered assistance to the young girl found by the roadside in a traumatised condition is deserving of high accolades (KN Jan 13).
The young girl too must be commended for her bravery in escaping her attacker and for having the presence of mind, even in her traumatised state, to take a photo of the vehicle’s number plate, which eventually led to the capture of the alleged attacker. It is hoped swift justice will prevail and the young lady will be able to soon overcome her ordeal.
For the alleged attacker he must face the consequences of his actions including using a private vehicle as a taxi in public service, which is against the regulations.
Regards,
Shamshun Mohamed
