Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – I felt happy to see that two huge bills were passed in the Parliament and it gives me something to look forward to as I think that Guyanese will soon benefit from business in the oil industry and this was needed for a long time.
Guyana is our country and I have a few relatives who have small businesses which I hope will benefit as well. Some people, I know are only waiting to expand their businesses and earn more for the services they provide. I hope they will see this happening with this new Local Content Law.
I can’t say I understood the Natural Resource Fund Bill before but after I tuned in and listened to the things Guyanese will benefit from as was explained by the Minister of Finance. I’m convinced that we will see big things happening in the future and I ask that they keep up the good work. At least I hope so. Congratulations to the Government on looking out for our best interest.
Respectfully yours,
Brian Azore
