Young Achievers clinch DVA Senior title
Kaieteur News – The Demerara Volleyball Association (DVA) closed off their season on Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) when the curtains fell on their Senior competition that had a total of four teams participating.
Young Achievers proudly display their prizes.
When the final whistle echoed in the indoor facility, Young Achievers Volleyball Club were in jubilation after ending their season on a high with a well deserved victory.
Achievers got the better of Castrol Strikers Volleyball Club in the decider, winning 3-1.
The individual trophies for the final ‘dream team’ were as follows:
Best outside hitters- Vance Harding & Geno Carrol
Best middles- Klondyke Rodney & Corwyn Richards
Best opposite- Juan valesquez
Best setter- Kemraj Persaud
Best libero- Nicholas Khan
